The e-mail address auto-complete is turned on in Mail Options but it
doesn't seem to work at all on my laptop(Outlook 2003). I am using a 2002
PST file that I keep synched with an Outlook 2002 on my desktop computer.
In a previous post I asked about some issues I am also having with
auto-complete on my 2002 desktop version but at least it works hit and miss
there. Any help is appreciated.

It wasn't meant as duplicate post. They were for what I thought was
separate problems in version 2002 and version 2003. I thought it better to
separate them than combine them into one e-mail. Sorry.
