Dynamic Update External Interface

The problem with DNS is the External NIC used by ISA Server, updates DNS
and clients use the external IP address.

The only work around was to disable dynamic updates, and delete external DNS
reference.

How can I enable dynamic updates, but stop external NIC from updating DNS?

Don't like workaround, need a better way!

Configure DNS to listen on only the internal interface. Remove the DNS entries from the external NIC and uncheck "register this connection's addresses in
DNS". On the internal interface, have the server only point it's internal IP for DNS. This should do it.

That is how it is how the external interface is configured.

The problem is the netlogon.dns file includes this external interface, and
is re-applied every hour, so DNS will again have reference to the wrong IP
address.

Where in Active Directory can the IP be deleted, so the netlogon.dns file
will not contain interface.

Thank you

Karl
