Dynamic Text Boxes in Ppt 2003

Hello everyone. I'm currently working on a presentation in which I would
like it to feature dynamic text boxes. What I mean by this is that I would
like to input a text box in the presentation that would change it's text and
cycle different phrases on a timer, replaying itself. So, the slide would
begin and the audience would see a paragraph on screen. The paragraph would
remain there for 10 seconds and the text of that paragraph would disappear
and be replaced by a new paragraph. This paragraph would also remain
onscreen for 10 seconds and would be replaced by a third unique paragraph of
text. Then the process would repeat.
Is this do-able? I've played with layers of animation effects and timing
them to offset one another, but I fear that this will result in some sort of
user error on my part. Not to mention the slide design screen gets extremely
confusing to work with while 3 seperate text boxes are laying on top of each
other. Is there a way to achieve this effect more efficiently and reliably?

Thank you.

Create a duplicate slide for each text box, set transitions to fade,
dissolve, etc. for each slide and set to advance slide on 1 or 2 seconds.
Set Up your slide show to Loop until ESC. The transitions will create the
animation effect for you and you won't have to layer the text boxes.

See Dynamic PowerPoint tutorial at:

for some more looping tricks.
