dynamic hyperlink

hi all,
may be iam missing some basic
Iam trying to do

<asp:hyperlink id="myhyperlink" text="my hyperlink" runat="server"
navigateurl='<% GoToMyFunction %>' ></asp:Hyperlink>

and its not going to my function in the code behind

any help would be appreciated
