Dynamic conditional formating

Hi.
Conditional formating is a greate visual features to highlight information
in an sheet.
But is it possible to copy format from certain cell based on it's value.

I.e.
Cell A4 is red and contains the value A.Cell A5 is green and contains the
value B Is it possible to let all other cells in the sheet with the value A
copy formats from the A4 cell and all cells with value B copy format from
cell A5.

I know this could be solved by conditional formating, but I need some 5 -
10 different value options.

Please give me some hint that would extend the use of conditional formating
beyond the default features.

AFAIK this is not possible with conditional formating. You have to set
these conditions individually for the cells, you can't copy the format

Cells that refer to A4 can be formated the same as A4 this way:
1. Copy A4
2. Go To | Special | Dependents
3. Past | Special | Format
Repeat for A5.
