dwnld sp4 stops bootup OS

downloaded service pack #4 and on the restart and bootup
of OS win2000 stops with error msg:
"stop 0x0000000, 0x0000000C
 
I had a similar problem. I DL'd SP4 and Win2K wouldn't
get to the splash screen and then jsut stop. After 2 1/2
hrs with a tech, ended up that the service pack overwrote
my video card driver. I had to uninstall teh driver, DL
and new one, and install that new video driver. My system
is still not a full capacity as I can't print or DL any
Windows patches now.
