Dvd's won't play!

Any help appreciated. Being of the older generation my brain is not for
mod:gadgets! I can't seem to watch dvd's on my pc. I have Realplayer & Wins
Media player. I want to reinstall POWER DVD ( I've got installation disc )
but it won't run. How do I start manually? XP tells me my DVD/CD-RW DRIVE (
D: ) is O.K.
( I've have several Tarzan - J.Weismuller- awaiting my attention Thanks Ako.

You should find a program called setup.exe in the root folder of the drive.
Double click on that program.

Thanks Jim! but it still won't play.opens but RESUME MOVIE
RESTART
TITLE MENU
are all greyed out.Downloaded EASYDVD to try that won't work either.

dvd's not playing are usually a codec problem codecs can be obtained from
here http://www.free-codecs.com/download/K_Lite_Codec_Pack.htm or this free
program plays most things vlc media player
http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-windows.html

make sure it is Power DVD installtion disc. open foler then double click on
setup.exe file
