DVD to AVI

I have a home movie that is burned to a DVD in DVD format. I want to convert
it back to an AVI file or other format so I can put it on my web page for
others to view. It is about 13 minutes long.

You'd want a highly compressed wmv not avi, or in fact the mpeg2 from the
dvd might just go on ok, as it wouldn't be too large. Search google for dvd
to wmv or mpeg2 to wmv or vob to wmv for apps which will convert.
