DVD Shrink on Ebay 99p

Generally, however, the license to a free program may permit it to be
sold. For instance, there are a lot of open source software that is
distributed this way. You can download it yourself _or_ you can pay for
the CDs.

A fairly recent news-item demonstrating the confusion about paying for
free software was when the UK government had seized a batch of CDs with
Mozilla Firefox, intended for commercial distribution. But when the
Mozilla Foundation was asked to press charges, they replied that such
distribution was perfectly OK with them. Read more on

But, in the case of DVDShrink, this seems to be breaking the license.
Besides, paying to get a freely downloadable program per mail seems
kinda stupid IMHO.
