dvd+rw is not working please help

my dvd+rw dvd8631, will not open, no lights come on, nothing, when i check
the properties it says the device is working properly, but it dose nothing
please help......
 
Hi,

Turn off your PC! Open the dvd+rw manually.
So there's a very little hole on the front side of the dvd+rw.
Take a paper clip and put it in and the dvd+rw opens.
