dvd record

Hi,

I have a Dell Dimension 4700 PC (Windows XP) with cd and dvd record and play
facilites.

I can record and play on CD-RW.
I can play DVD ROM but can't record onto DVD-RW.
What is the procedure for recording onto DVD?

Windows XP can't do it by itself, you need third party software like Roxio
or Nero.
