Recently, my dvd player on my pc stopped working. It
works when you turn it on, but only once. Then the tray
won't open and the dvd player, when accessed in my
computer, no longer respones. Is there a new driver or
window's diagnostic tool I can use? What should I do?

Check cables at the rear of the drive. If you haven't added any new
hardware recently (if you have it could be an insufficient PSU issue) and
there is still no change in behavior, you may have to replace the drive.
