DVD drive

I installed the DVD drive into our laptop because we
needed to use it. In order for us to do that we had to
remove some hardware. My computer doesn't seem to be
reading any discs that I put in the DVD drive. Can you
help me?

Open XP's "Help and Support" and type: DVD , and hit enter.
Click on the topic titled: "DVD Troubleshooting".

Try reinstalling your DVD decoder. If you don't have one, you'll
need to purchase and install one. Some suggestions:
