duplication of records

i have created a calendar in Access and would like to know if there is any
way i can prevent staff members from double booking slots

i have a Date, Time, Staff Member, Subject and Type of meeting column also a
notes field

up to 15 peoples diaries are managed through this calendar the time column
is a pick list, so is the staff member column and so is the type of meeting
column. the date column is set to date/time format the subject column text

i know i need to use the time date and staff member column in some kind of
way to stop people double booking but don't have any clue how to do this
