Duplicated E-mails - how to fix

Hi. I get an error on outlook 2003,(Task 'mail.r2uk.net - Receiving' reported
error (0x800CCC0F) : 'The connection to the server was interrupted. If this
problem continues, contact your server administrator or Internet service
provider (ISP).'

I often get duplicate e-mails and have to log in to the pop3 account to
delete them manually. I think there is a fix, but I am lost at how to get it.
It looks like i will have to pay for it, but that seems a little unfair if it
is a fault of the software and not just me being dense. The reference is to
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/885243 but i do not appear to be allowed to
get it becuase outlook came with the pc. Any help greatly appreciated.

Do you have any anti-virus/anti-spam software scanning your incoming mail?
If so turn of that scanning - the connection interrupted error is often the
result of such software. Could you post back letting us know if this also
solves the duplicated messages problem? (There's evidence that it will,
but I'd like confirmation...)
