Duplicate SID's

How is a SID created? What happens if I duplicate a SID
and join a domain? How do I fix problems created by
duplicating SID'd

When you join the domain, you get a unique SID.
Go to sysinternals.com and look up the tool "NewSID" and there is (was at
least once) an explanation of why you should change the SID(or at least not
duplicate.) Nothing too alarming about why the duplicate SID thing is bad -
the situations where it is are fairly unique.
