duplicate sent messages

Hello

My client is reporting that sometimes her mail is being received more then
once. I have checked her sent folder and their is only one message. I am
running office 2007 and have received duplicates too so this is not an issue
with POP on Outlook 2003.

Please help

Scanning outgoing messages with an antivirus program (totally unnecessary
and pointless) is the single most frequent cause of this.

Try lengthening the server timout value then. Look at the Advanced tab of
your account properties.
