how can i scan for duplicate files in win media player and

I'm not sure about WMP, but J. River Media Center has a auto-playlist already
created just for this purpose. You can install the demo, and find the
duplicates. J. River Media Center is the most powerful jukebox software
available. I don't recommend it for newbies, though.
