Duplicate e-mails

My e-mails from a particular person are going into my
Inbox and a subfolder in which I set up for that person,
so I am getting duplicate e-mails. I have tried deleting
the rule and recreating it, and tried selecting "stop
processing more rules" but both of those didn't work. It
is still going into both folders. My Inbox is set up like
this:
INBOX
Subfolder
Subfolder
Subfolder
This is the one I want it to go to ONLY

My experimentation shows that the MOVE action in a rule is COPY and that if
you include the "delete it" action, that there will be a single copy of the
message and it will be in the destination folder.
