Duplicate copies of a report

page hi to all
I have a report that needs about 4" of height for each record. When
printed, I'd like 2 identical copies of the report to appear on the page
separated by a dotted line. I'm new to reports, so I could use a few clues
how to do this.

Thank you
Becky

Do you mean that you want 2 identical copies of the *record* to appear on
each page? If yes, if it is an ungrouped report, in the report's Design
view, click the Field List button
and drag 2 more of each field onto the report Grid where you want them to
appear and use the Line Tool to draw a line, setting Border Style to Dotted.

If your report is Grouped with Headers and Footers, it's a bit more
complext. Make 2 copies of the main report and drag them onto the main
report in the Group Footer in Design View as subreports.
You will need to link them to Main Report by a Primary Key field; the one
that forms the top group in the report.
Set the ForceNewPage property for the Group Footer to AfterSection in both
the main and subreports.
