Hi all - some assistance please?
I have just purchased a new PC and tried to install my XP Pro OS. Somehow or
other I have managed to get the 8 meg dynamic partition duplicated so that
instead of having just the one as normal (which remains tucked away and
un-named), I now have a second one which has been annotated as C Drive with
my 160gig main HDD as D drive.
I know it's not the end of the world but it really bugs me. Is there any way
that I can change this and either remove the rogue C drive or at least change
the drive letters round without reformatting? If not, is there anything I
need to do on the reformat to prevent a reccurrence?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Youll have to reformat to do that, boot to xp cd,recovery, press enter for
password,
then type:DiskPart In DiskPart,delete the partitions,create one,then press
Esc
key,then type:FORMAT C: /FS:ntfs When thru type:EXIT Reboot to xp cd,then
select install xp.
