Dungeon Siege 2 Patch Help and LOW FPS

Well i was trying to install 2.2 Patch and i get error 29: insufficient disk
space to apply patch, free up disk space and attempt to apply patch again.
on that partition i have 1 g os space left, how much more does it need?

to Also i am experiencing very bad framerates, I usualy get 8fps in
battles, small or big.
I have a high end computer. Nothing big running in the background.
Specs
ati radeon x850 xt plat edition 256mb
amd athlon 64 3500+ 2.2 ghz
1gb ram
xp prop sp2 latest updates

that's all you need to know, if anything else please tell.

Let's tackle the update problem first..
Let's try a couple of things to get that working for you again:

1. Startup your system in SAFE MODE with Networking by pressing
F8 repeatedly while your system is booting up;

2. Log in with an account you've created as a "Computer Administrator"
account that you'll use to play the game, but don't use a Limited account.
