Duel Screen Setup with Dell Inspiron ??

Can I have my laptop screen show me, the presenter, the normal PowerPoint
workspace, while at the same time have the output to the projector carry
only the slide show? I'll be using a Dell Inspiron 6000.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
