I want to install a video editing program (avid liquid pro), it is advised
that I install utilities on one hard drive & avid liquid on its very own hard
drive. Does anyone have step by step instructions on setting up a duel boot
or recommend a good book that would be easy to understand. Any other ideas,
instructions or tips are welcome.
Sincerely,

A - It's "DUAL" boot, as in "two". Duel is a fight of honor, usually
carried out with swords or pistols.

B - Nothing in your problem statement indicates that dual boot is required,
just a separate hard drive for the application. And that doesn't make a lot
of sense, either. To put the program and its utilities on your main app
drive, and to put the actual video files being edited on a separate drive,
that does.

Hi,

What you are suggesting is not dual booting. Dual booting or multi booting
is installing mutable operating systems on a single machine, or hard drive.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it appears you want to install avid liquid pro
an a drive or partition other than the one Windows is installed on. During
the install process you should be given a choice of where the application
will be installed. In this case simply choose and alternative drive or
partition and complete the install.
