I have a customer that wants to install dual nics in his

same time. Is this do able and how do you set it up?

Hi, David -

All you have to do is install the NICs. Windows XP will
automagically set up a network bridge between the
networks.

Here's a pretty good article on setting them up -

Allan, a network bridge will prevent David from doing what he wants.
It joins the two NICs into a single logical NIC to connect to a single
network. I've written a web page with details:

XP ICS - Network Bridge

David, don't let XP create a network bridge. Everything should work,
provided that the two networks use different IP address ranges
(subnets). XP will automatically use the right NIC to communicate
with each network.
