Dual Booting

Thanks for all the replies..... however Doris I find your remarks highly
offensive .. and uncalled for ....

i do agree completely, and for me, its absurdly obvious,
that if the ask is placed within Vista forum and because Vista is the new
O.S., the ask can refer only to dual boot with Vista with any other windows,
and there is no need of ambiguity, since the ask is refered clearly to "very
principiants on dual booting", you can too, choice the OS1 OS2 to explain
your ideas.
So, here too, there is a very good example, that the agresor is the real
idiot, twice, for being agressive without any, any need. Sorry, i am
replaying this way because agressors must think twice, before employing such
words and atittudes. Finally, for me, its no worth to follow more coments on
this subject, i mean , only the offenses, if i am not clear.

Carlos.

thanks for the reply rock.... but as i stated in my first request I am new to
this and to my way of thinking quite obviously thought the best place to get
answers on vista would be in a vista forum? .. now if thats wrong then please
tell me !!!

The questions were valid.
What 2 o/s do you wish to dual boot ?
Is one installed and the other not ?
If Vista is not installed, is the pc configuration capable of using Vista?
Do you wish to dual boot from the same drive or a different drive?
Is Vista an upgrade or full retail version ?
The above answers have a large bearing in answering your questions and obvioulsy impact any expected success.
Until then:

I didn't say you were wrong. What I said was to get more focused help you
need to provide more info. And I gave you some other resources to search
for the info. There has been much discussion in the Vista newsgroups about
dual booting. Searching on that topic in Google Groups Advanced search
would give you a lot of info.

You still haven't provided any specifics.
