Dual boot Win2k Professional and Win2k Server/Advanced Server

Would someone be so kind as to point me to a howto or similar on how to
accomplish this? As I am new to doing this with Windows(do it all the time
when dual-booting with Linux), I will need help from the very beginning --
setting up partitions.

Thanks a lot!

There are many ways of achieving this. Here is my preferred
way. It will give you two completely independent operating
systems, each in its own partition, each visible as drive C:.

1. Load Windows 2000. Make sure to select a partition size
that leaves enough room for Windows Server and for
shared data.
2. From within Win2000, set up a primary partition for
Windows Server, and format it.
3. Set up a partition for shared data.
4. Set up a 10 MByte FAT partition for the XOSL boot loader.
Locate it at the far end of your disk.
5. Boot with a Win98 boot disk and load XOSL into its
dedicated partition.
6. Add the two primary partitions to the XOSL menu
(even though the Windows Server partition is empty!).
7. Configure XOSL so that it hides the Win2000 partition
when booting into Windows Server.
8. Boot into Windows Server. The machine will lock up,
of course.
9. Load Windows Server into the second partition.
10. Boot with a Win98 boot disk and restore XOSL.

You're done!

XOSL is freely downloadable from the Internet. Win98
boot disks are available from www.bootdisk.com.

If you ever want to boot without the help of XOSL,
just boot the machine with your Win98 boot disk and
issue this command: fdisk /MBR. The PC will now boot
into whichever of your two primary partitions is unhidden
at the time.
