Need to setup a dual boot of Win 2000 Pro and Win XP Pro where both Operating
Systems will been seen as the 'C' drive.
Installed Win 2000 Pro on a clean PC and saved image to network.
Installed Win XP Pro on a clean PC and saved image to network.
Restored Win 2000 Pro image to clean 40 GB disk and put it in a Primary
Partition of 20 GB.
Restored Win XP Pro image to Primary Partition into remainder of free space.
Installed Boot Manager.
Win 2000 Pro boots up fine as 'C' drive and I am able to hide the Win XP Pro
drive.
Win XP Pro will not go past the startup screen. I am guessing it is due to
it being created as 'C' drive but on bootup it may been seen as the 'D'
drive. (Assuming the 'C' drive is seen as the Win 2000 Pro partition)
Based on the requirements, I need both OS's on the PC and both to be seen as
the 'C' drive.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Jody Barber
