Hello everyone,
whenever I try to opn a form, I receive the following error:
Your Microsoft Access database or project contains a missing or broken
reference to the file 'DTCSERV.dll' version 1.0.
*To ensure that your database or project works properly, you must fix this
reference.
*To learn how to fix this reference, click Help.
I have 2 options - OK and HELP
When I click on OK, it opens the form, but a lot of functionality is gone.
When I click HELP, I get the following information:
Fix a reference to a library
In many cases, Microsoft Access will fix missing references automatically
when you open an Access file (Microsoft Access file: An Access database or
Access project file. An Access database stores database objects and data in
an .mdb file. A project file doesn't contain data and is used to connect to a
Microsoft SQL Server database. ). Use the following procedure if you need to
fix a missing reference manually.
Open a module (module: A collection of declarations, statements, and
procedures stored together as one named unit. There are two types of modules:
standard modules and class modules.) or create a new module.
On the Tools menu, click References.
In the Available References box, clear the check boxes next to any missing
references, and select the check box next to the reference or references you
want.
When I go into the modules, I do not have the option for creating a new one,
or linking in this missing link.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
