I asked several days ago for help in finding a solution to a problem.
When I wish to use a search engine (any of them) I get "Page cannot be displayed"
DNS Error.
The HTTP address bar sends me to Com.net when I type in www.yahoo.com. Now more of my browser features are falling victim to this. Several portions of any page I open have sections that have DNS error on them. My ability to browse the web is shrinking daily. Any suggestions? I tried the default registry link, nothing, I tried searching for and altering host files, nothing, Bug Doctor, Norton, Spybot come up clean, although norton did quaranteen two trojan horses it could not fix or delete.
Win XP
AMD Athlon 2400+
1 Ghg DDR
128 Mhb Nvidia GeForce vid
SoundBlaster 24 bit sound
Lynksys Wls G series via Comcast cable modem
Suggestions welcome!
