Spybot recommends alteration of this Registry Key. It pertains to "a
security hole in IE".

How serious is this vulnerability?

Will the proposed alteration as reproduced below adversely affect browser
functionality?

I use :
Windows ME

IE 6 SP1; Q824145; Q330994; Q832894



Spybot finding:

DSO Exploit: Data source object exploit (Registry change, nothing done)
HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet
Settings\Zones\0\1004=W=3

If there is a security flaw, check with MS update for latest updates and
install.
What does Spybot say after?

When I go to windows Update, i saee no critical updates for my ssytem. Which
is why I'm wondering if this "security vulnerability" is still extant.

I regularly check and download such Windows Updates.
