DSN-less Oracle connection

Hi

I found the DSNStripper add-in on mvps, nice little tool.
But I would like to try and get it to work with linked tables from Oracle
and make them DSN-less.

Can anyone give me any suggestions on how to do this?
I don't really understand how the code works, but I have changed what I
think are the sections that will work for Oracle, but I keep getting the
following message when I add it into the db I'm working on and running it.

'Microsoft Office Access can't find the wizard, or the wizard has not been
installed, or there is a syntax error in the Declarations section of a Visual
Basic module.'

However, if I run the original code to change the tables from SQL Server to
DSN-less it works fine.

Is there anything wrong with my code, which could cause this message?

What actual value are you getting for strCnx after you assign it the value
of astrCnx(1) & astrCnx(2) & astrCnx(3)?

Compare it to what Carl Prothman has at

I've just checked the strCnx string and it came out with the following:

ODBC;DRIVER={Microsoft ODBC for Oracle};SERVER=students;SERVER=students;

I don't know why it has listed the SERVER twice, it doesn't do this with the
original code for SQL Server.

And even when I tried to add a UID and PWD, it didn't even pick that up.

Danny, I found the sample code you created for this before on database
journal I think. I tried using it to register an SQL Server DSN, but that
too wouldn't store the UID or the PWD, when I added it into the code.
