My bazooka has found drummerboy installed in my computer. I ran adaware,
spybot and a few other spyware software and it came up clan. how do i remove
this drummerboy.

Thanks for these, but none of these actually remove drummerboy (unless I
purchase the full version). Are there any others out there for free that
will do the job?

Follow the steps under Manual Removal. You don't have to purchase anything.

You are right, but it's manual instructions, and since I'm not too computer
literate in that area, i prefer automatic removal, but that's where the
purchase is required.

Simply remove the runkey. Note: Unchecking the same in msconfig/startup
removes the runkey as well. Once removed or either way, run this combo:

Run Ad-Aware, Spybot and HijackThis:

Note: Update each program, once installed, before running.

Note2: To avoid the False-Flag for the DSO Exploit (W3), open
Spybot/Advanced Mode/Settings/Ignore Products. On the All Products Tab,
scrol to DSO Exploit and check that item only. Randy (silj)

Search with Windows Explorer and delete it manually; Make sure the Recycle Bin is emptied after the delete. Then use a tried and trusted anti-virus software such as Symantec and scan the entire hard disk. Also, use Norton Utilities to check your registry entries. To get all these done cheaply, I recommend get Norton SystemsWork 2005 Premier which cost about $50. Pocket money for some!!

I use non Microsoft products wherever possible which requires no activation.

I use Netscape 7.2 as my default browser which has everything I need for my work.

action.. good luck..
