Dropdown Selection

I have seen a "Dropdown" selection facility in an Excel Spreadsheet. How is
this done?

Tony,

I suspect you are referring to Data Validation, using the Allow List
setting. Enter the list of acceptable data in some range of cells. Then,
select the cell which you want to have the drop down. Then, go to the Data
menu, choose Validation, and choose List in the Allow listbox. Then enter
the range reference in the source box.
