Dropdown menu

After generating a dropdown menu, is there any way to make the dropdown
arrow stay visable permanently. At the moment mine only become visible
when you click on the cell where the dropdown menu can be found. Any
new comer to the spreadsheet wont know that they are there.

Depends on what you used to create the dropdown?

If you used a dropdown from the forms toolbar or a combobox from the control
toolbox toolbar, then it should be visible.

If you used data|validation, then that isn't built into excel. You could add a
shape to the cell (ugly???). I just give it a nice pastel yellow shade so that
it stands out.
