hi there can anyone advise in front page 2003 how to create a hyperlink in a
drop down menu to a web address. for example if the site is live and i click
on the drop down menu and select one of the fields and click it takes me to
that web site address

If you'd usen components it would be easier. I used menu from
http://www.apycom.com/ which was very easy to create. Just need to cut and
paste the code into your page and assign the necessary URL's from the
application it has provided. Although you must purchase it, however a trial
version is available for life time, but it mensions it self the word "Trial
Version" in the menu.

And if you need to more to learn about this, one of the guys in the
newsgroup have given these URL's to look into:

There are lots of examples of drop down menus around that you don't need to
buy.
