dropdown fields

I am NEW to creating databases in Access. I've started one and made some
forms thru the Wizard and one just by Design. The one I made by Designed
will show the dropdown fields I want to select from, but won't let them be
selected. When I tab past it, " #Name? " appears in that field.
What have I done wrong?

Access replies with "#Name" when it can't recognize the name of the field
being referred to as the control source. Open the form in design mode,
select the control (drop down) and click on Properties. Check the control
source property -- if it isn't spelled correctly, Access can't figure it
out.
