Is it possible to change the tooltip at run time. I am looking for an option
to display the description as tooltip when the item(code) changes in the
combo box.

Hi Jimmy,

you will have to do that on the clientside. Capture the onchange element on
the client and write the tooltip in a <div> tag and suitably position it.

You can use javascript to change the "title" attribute of the combo
box on the client side.
