Drop down search menus

Every time I start to do a search, every subject I've
ever searched appears in a drop down menu. How do I turn
this feature off???

Manual Edit:

Go to Start/Run/Regedit and navigate to this key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Search Assistant\ACMru

To prevent keeping a history altogether, right click ACMru/Permissions/Deny
all users and groups listed.

Alternatively, IE/Search/Change Preferences/Turn AutoComplete Off
