How can I create a drop down menu without the first item of the drop down
appearing on the page. For example, right now "Select" appears in each field.
I just want it to be blank, click the drop down and then the selections
appear.

If you're using the form field combo box you can just add a blank entry and
move it to the top of the list.

I found that some type of entry is required to activate the Add box. A blank
space works just fine. Then move it to the top of the list.

Thanks.

In a Forms toolbar field, you can add an entry that consists of non-breaking
spaces (Ctrl-Shift-Spacebar). Make that the first entry in your list.
