drop down menu on template does not show in email

I have created a form template in Word. I need to send this form in an email
to other people in the body of the email, not as an attachment. I go to the
file menu, hover over send to, and select mail recepient. When the email
goes through everything in my form is there except for the drop down menu
selections from the template, those spots/selections do not even show up
(there is no space for them) to the end reader. I need to know how I can
make these drop down menus show up in the email. Any help would be
appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Do you have complete and utter control over the software your recipients
is using for his emails, and over the settings of that software? If not,
then you might as well forget it: you will have to send your document as
an attachment.

You are sending "active" content, and a lot of company mailservers might
block it outright; and there are always the purists who read emails in
text-only mode.
