Drop Down Boxes

Ken Curtis

Good morning (well ... it's morning here in Ontario!)
Is there a way to increase the number of entries I can add to a 'drop down'
box in Word? The current default setting is 25 items, and I would like to be
able to insert 31 items (i.e. the numbers 1 - 31 for the days in a month).
Thanks!
Ken

Don't use the "Drop Down Form Field" from the Legacy Tools, use the Combo
Box Tool instead.

In Word 2003 or earlier, you need to program a userform. See
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=306258 for details.

In Word 2007 you can use a dropdown content control -- but then the form
will be usable only in Word 2007 or in an earlier version that has the
Compatibility Pack applied.
