how can i turn off the drop box thing?..Everytime i type something into
google, it shows what previous searches have been requested. Also when i sign
into my e-mail it automatically fetches my "sign on" name and my
password..all someone has to do is press enter to receive all of my
information. How can i turn it off?

Internet Explorer has its own newsgroups.

Turn off Autocomplete in Tools > Options > Advanced. Delete saved
passwords etc from the Options dialog too.

Click Start, Settings, Control Panel, "Internet Options". Click the "Advanced" tab. Scroll
down to "Browsing", uncheck "Use Inline Autocomplete for Web Addresses" and uncheck "Use Inline
Autocomplete for Windows Explorer". Click "Content" tab, under the "Personal Information"
section, click the "AutoComplete" button, uncheck what you don't want. To clear the "Auto
Complete History", click the "Clear Forms" button.
