The Irish Government Issue the following notice.
It is our intention in keeping in line with the rest of Europe to change the road directional system
To drive on the right hand side of our roads, in preference to the left side,
To save any confusion we have set out the following change over sequence
Phase [1] will allow cars to change over from 12 AM on Wednesday 1st April 2009
Phase [2] Buses and heavy vehicles will change over from 12 AM on Thursday 2nd April 2009.
Please drive carefully untill you get used to the change over.
