Drivers for XP 64 not available

I have a new machine with XP 64 bit (media edition) but when I visit the web
site for HP they say the drivers for my printer (HP color laserjet 2550L) are
not available.

it suggests using the XP professional drivers as substitute - but now when I
print the fonts enlarge and the integrity of my documents is lost.

Anyone found a way around missing drivers or have another suggestion?

Windows Media Center 2005 is NOT a 64-bit operating system, it is 32-bit.
It is just a 64-bit CPU. Use the Window XP drivers from the HP website and,
as always, install the software BEFORE connecting the printer to the PC.

If you are experiencing problems, then I suggest you uninstall and
reinstall. It's not a hardware problem.
