drivers failed to load.

my computer is running sluggish at the moment it does not
shut down properly i have to wait at least 5 minutes for
it to log off but it wont turn off. Every time i turn it
on and it loads up it takes a while for a program to load
e.g event viewer.
I looked in the event viewer and found this error:-

the drivers are called atapi and PCIIde

hi there thanks for the reply but i just ran it and im
still getting the same errors.
have you anything else to try?

Go to your motherboard web site and find any bios
updates.Or check in device manager and click + on
IDE ATA/ATAPI see if there is any ? or ! next to any
thing there,or maybe click on them and change or find new
drivers.....Good luck.
