driver problems?

I did a signature verification on the drivers and came
up with some that weren't signed. But none of them seem
to be problems. I did go over the device manager again
and i found a driver that had a warning and disabled it.
One question though? I ran Norton anti-virus and the
program stopped responding when it was scanning for
threats in my "windows\system32\drivers\etc" folder. any
idea what that is about?

Try several of the online AV scanners, and if you feel like it, download
Trend Micro's Sysclean and the signature file. Run that in safe mode.
