Hello,
I have Windows Vista Business, factory pre-load on my new laptop. I plugged
in my Sony DSC S-70, and Vista told me it needed to search the web for the
driver. I said fine, do it.

No luck. I have gone to the Sony website, and it tells me that Vista
includes the driver for the DSC S-70, and the Sony website does not provide
me a driver to download for Vista.

Can anyone shed some light on a solution? I don't have a Sony disk with the
driver (I may once have had this, but I can't find it now). Also, I don't
have the Vista media disks, they were not included with the Vista licenses.

My sense is that the factory pre-instal of Vista did not include this
driver. I must somehow download it from Microsoft.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
David

What you can try is let it search online, but then afterwards when it says
that it cannot find drivers online, tell it to find it on your computer in
your Windows directory (usually C:\Windows)
