i got into zoo tycoon and decided to buy zoo tycoon 2: zookeepers collection

it was able to install but when i tried to play it said i needed 256 MB of
System memory to run the game and that 0 memory was detected. i'm not quite
sure what system memory is but my Partition (C:) and Recovery (D:) have more
than enough free space 216 GB (partition) and 7.99 GB (recovery). the hard
drive where i insert my game is the DVD RW Drive (E:). When i insert the game
it says it is FULL on space! total size: 523 MB and free space: 0 bytes. i'm
so confused! should i buy an external or what???

Your Hard Drive is Secondary Memory for permanent storage, your RAM is
Primary memory, or System Memory for working, typing, games, etc.

The 256MB the Game is asking for is Primary Memory(System Memory), RAM.

Go to Start>Right-click on Computer>Left-click on Properties> and it will
show you how much RAM is installed on your computer.
Would you post back here, please, wit the MBs number of RAM?

If you only have 512MBs of RAM, it is insufficent to run games.

The 523MBs, and 0 free space is just letting you know what is on the disk;
nothing to worry about. It is merely the Games size on the Disk, and saying
that you can not add anything to it, which you don't want to do anyway!

I presume that you have a Desktop Icon for your Game?
Or do you run it from your DVD drive?
Try right-clicking on it>Run as Admin to start it.
