drive o diskette failure, help!

Hey! my computer just turns off.. with no advertising or somethin, just turns
off, so i re install windows xp and download all the new stuff i need but
again and again turns off and now when i turns on the pc appears a message ,
drive o diksette failure.. someone knows what can i do?Im mexican so sorry if
my message its a little confuse i put my message in spanish here, thanks!
Hola mi computadora se apaga, el monitor se apaga, ya recete varias veces y
sigue apagandose, pense que era un virus pero no ahora al prender la
computadora me sale el mensaje drive o diskette failure y me meti y me
dijeron que buscara ayuda o soporte aqui, espero me ayuden, gracias!

Drive 0 would be C: With xp on it,to chk the disk,in xp go to run type:cmd
In cmd type:CHKDSK C: /F Agree to restart,type:EXIT Restart computer.
On start-up the CHKDSK will run,after its thru,look for "Bad Sectors" If
anything
but 0 shows,return to cmd,type:CHKDSK C: /R Also,if the disk is
questionable,
download from the disk mfg web site the MS-DOS disk utility,install on a
MS-DOS formatted floppy,boot to floppy,run the tests to chk the disk.....
